Bridesmaids

Jenny A With Iris
Maid of Honor: Jennifer Austin
Jenny is Iris's best friend from childhood. When Iris was little she would run across the street (sometimes as early as 6am) and ring her doorbell so Jenny would come out and play. From lemonade stands to prom dresses, Jenny has seen Iris through it all. Now at UMASS medical, Jenny is working hard to become Dr. Austin!

Matron of Honor: Michelle Cardona
Shelly was Iris's roommate at Holy Cross for 4 years. How she put up with that, John will never understand. They would get up together at 5am to row crew and stay up late getting our work done. Through college, Michelle supported all of Iris's endeavors and pushed her constantly to study and study. Today Shelly has a busy life. Newly married to Michael Stitzel, Shelly has been working hard at Jefferson Medical School. If that wasn't enough, she is also currently at Johns Hopkins for her Masters in Public Health. All that studying was worth it!

Carrie is Overdressed for the Kitchen
Bridesmaid: Carrie Croucher
Iris met Carrie at Holy Cross freshman year. One of the first things She remembers about Carrie is "Wow, this girl is really smart and she is never stressed out. How does she do it?" Out of all of Iris's girlfriends, Carrie is the rational one. Let's just say... she keeps Iris in line. There were many late nights at Holy Cross when Carrie became her proofreader and she will forever be in debt. Currently, Carrie not only has the coolest record collection in town, she is also is studying midwifery at Yale.

Bridesmaid: Jennifer Gauvin
Since college Jenn Gauvin has been one of Iris's dearest friends. They lived on the same hall freshman year, became psychology buddies and the rest is history. Their adventures did not end at Holy Cross, instead Jenn and Iris had the opportunity to live together post-graduation in Taipei, Taiwan. Aside from keeping her relaxed through the world of academics, Jenn is also Iris's cooking tutor. Who would have thought they would ever become so domesticated? In her free time Jenn is studying for her Psy.D. (Clinical Doctorate) at Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology.

Groomsmen

Andrew is Laughing
Best Man: Andrew Maclennan
Andrew, or Andy Mac as we call him, lived across the hall from John freshman year at Tufts University. Andrew is remakably good fun for someone who works so hard. We think it's the crazy hair. After spending two years in the Peace Corps (which is not at all like the Marine Corps), Andrew will be starting Medical School at Wash. U. in St. Louis. If you're ever sick, bored or don't have an encyclopedia handy, Andrew is your man.

Bride's Brother, Groomsman: Adam Ponte
A junior at Holy Cross, Adam is getting ready to go study abroad in China as well as take his LSATs. When he isn't studying (ahem) he is golfing, playing baseball, fixing computers and working at the State Department. The ladies at the wedding better watch out!

John has known Michael's fiance, Liz Gould for years now. A few years ago she was nice enough to meet a very cool guy. Michael is Cool!
